Training Workshop

 This workshop is for current SRO's or officers interested in becoming an SRO. The course teaches skills needed to be successful in a school ennvironment. The 2010 Workshop will be taking place June 23-25 at the RCMP K Division.

The Training workshop may cover the following topics:

• Roles and Responsibilities of an SRO
• Working with School Administration
• Internet Crime/ Luring
• Threat Assessment
• Bullying
• Gang Issues and Graffiti
• Bomb Threats
• Teen Prostitution
• Lockdown Procedures
• Drug Issues
