The Alberta Association of School Resource Officers has commissioned Banister Research and Consulting Inc. to administer a survey with School Resources Officers the school administration they work with. The purpose of this survey is to understand the role of SROs in schools and the services they provide. This project is being funded by the Alberta Solicitor General’s Ministry and is being undertaken in response to recommendation #14 in Keeping Communities Safe: Report and Recommendations of Alberta's Crime Reduction and Safe Communities Task Force (Nov. 2007).
