SRO Training Workshop - June 24 - 26, 2008

A School Resource Officer (SRO) can play a vital role in the lives of many youth. The unfortunate reality for many police officers is that many do not receive any formal training before heading into a school environment. The Alberta Association of School Resource Officers (AASRO) recognizes the need for an officer to have training before dealing with youth in a school setting and is proud to host our fifth School Resource Officer Training Workshop on June 24 – 26, 2008 at the Alberta Solicitor General Staff College in Edmonton.

If you are a sworn member of a policing agency, and a current SRO or interested in becoming an SRO, this course will teach you how to be successful in a school environment. Registration will be capped at 25 people, so register early.
