2008 Student Essay Contest

We want to hear what you have to say! The 2008 topic is "Electronic Communication vs Face 2 Face: How will today’s wired world affect tomorrow’s personal relationships? Are we really LOL?"

The annual student essay contest provides Alberta junior and senior high school students with a great opportunity to showcase their writing abilities, express their opinions and win money towards their post-secondary education.

AASRO encourages the future leaders of our country to examine issues, which are considered important to everyone and express their views for all of us to listen. As a result, we encouraged and participated in establishing an annual essay contest so that the students we so proudly help, have an opportunity to express themselves, in issues that are important to us all.
