Safe Schools Conference November 4-6, 2007

The ninth annual Safe Schools Conference, presented by the Alberta Association of School Resource Officers, will be held on November 4th to November 6th at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel in Calgary, Alberta. This important conference promises to discuss innovative ideas on addressing youth issues – focusing on all things internet to girl bullying to school violence.

The board of directors decided to do something a little different at this year's conference because of the ever increasing problems with internet use by youth. The sessions scheduled for Monday, November 5th, will bring to light some of the biggest evils teens experience online, and how those activities can spill into their offline lives. The Tuesday, November 6th sessions will return to the previous year’s format and again cover prevalent youth issues that will benefit you and your workplaces.
