Safe Schools Conference November 4-6, 2007

The ninth annual Safe Schools Conference, presented by the Alberta Association of School Resource Officers, will be held on November 4th to November 6th at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel in Calgary, Alberta. The conference list is complete and promises to discuss innovative programs on addressing youth issues – focusing on all things internet to girl bullying to school violence.

The board of directors decided to do something a little different at this year's conference because of the ever increasing use of the internet by youth. The sessions scheduled for Monday, November 5th, will bring to light some of the biggest evils teens experience online, and how those activities can spill into their offline lives. The Tuesday, November 6th sessions will return to the previous year’s format and again cover prevalent youth issues that will benefit you and your workplaces. Everyone who registers by the earlybird deadline October 5, 2007 will be entered into a draw for a one night stay for two at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel in Calgary.
