2009 Student Essay Contest Is Now Open!

Are you a Senior or Junior High School student registered at an Alberta school? If you answered 'YES', check out our essay contest. The best entries can win a bursary of up to $2,500 for Sr. high students and $1,000 for Jr. high students.

AASRO is pleased to announce the 2009 Student Essay Contest for Senior and Junior High School students registered at an Alberta school. The topic for this year is:

How Has Telecommunications Aided The Bully: What Can We Do About It?

Bursaries available:

  • Sr High - 1st, $2,500 2nd, $1,000 3rd, $500
  • Jr High - 1st, $1,000 2nd, $300 3rd, $150

(bursaries are to go towards educational materials, tuition at a post secondary institution of choice or deposited into an RESP - Registered Education Saving Plan)
