Some areas of this website are password protected and can only be accessed by AASRO members. These areas contain information that is useful to an SROs job and only available to members in good standing with the association. These areas include lesson plans, video library information, bursary awarding, resource material and much more. All AASRO members receive an individual login identification and password to view the protected areas of this website.

According to our bylaws, “the association shall be comprised of members from any authorized Alberta police agency or police service or peace officer, which includes any municipal, provincial and Federal police agency or police service or peace officers, who are required either full time or part time to deliver educational lectures to Alberta students.” We also welcome members from outside of Alberta. Out of province members are considered associate-members. They still can take advantage of all the benefits of being a member. Annual cost for an AASRO membership is $20.
Recently, AASRO has changed their bylaws to include affiliate members which includes civilians. Membership access will be restricted from sensitive material. Affiliate members may not hold a position on the Board of Directors. Membership will cost $20.
You can sign up for a membership clicking on the Join AASRO link on the top menu bar. Then click on the link to fill out the membership application and send it to the noted address, or phone in your membership request. All membership questions can be directed to (780) 421-3564.
