Youth Officer of the Year Award
Each year, the Alberta Association of School Resource Officers (AASRO) is pleased to recognize one of its Alberta members for their outstanding work in contributing beyond the job, and for best exemplifying commitment, leadership and service to their respective community, students, and school(s).
The Youth Officer of the Year award is to recognize one officer’s performance as it relates solely to affecting youth behaviour and school/community culture.
The AASRO Awards Selection Committee will collectively review all of the nominations at a meeting and select one Youth Officer of the Year Award winner.
The winner will be announced during a special awards presentation at our annual Safe Schools Conference, Monday November 8, 2010, Delta Centre Suite Hotel, Edmonton, AB.
Please keep in mind any School Resource Officers and police members that are you feel are deserving of the AASRO Youth Officer of the Year Award. The deadline for the 2010 award is Oct 1, 2010
